Chicken Oscar

For our Christmas high school girl's gathering, we decided to host it at Moxie's Classic Bar and Grill located at Scarborough Town Centre. I think we chose it because of the location. I haven't been to Moxie's for half a year, but  experience last tinme was alright. I thought the food wasn't worth the price though.

Our entire group (I think 16 ppl in total) waited for an hr or maybe even longer before seating even though we made reservations. We got compensated with 2 bowls of nachos appetizers.. Dinner was fun, but the food was wayyyy too salty. Everyone had at least 2 cups of water. The chicken was over grilled and dry. Everything on the plate was blasted with salt except for bok choy. I think with $25-30 meal, I can eat AYCE japanese food or add a few more dollars and I can go to Lobster Trap! I don't think I'll be heading back to Moxie's anytime soon.

Halloween Party 2011

For this year's Halloween, I joined Raymond's friends clubbing event at Live. Live was alright... but I like Wetbar more. It was like a semi high school reunion~ Cora came too! And I'm glad Ata joined us too, it was a chill night hehe XD

Yayy!! My wig and geisha costume finally arrived.. I was kinda scared it wouldn't arrive on time =/ I bought it off ebay for like $12 for wig and $8 for kimono includes shipping, haha. I look kinda ridiculous, I love it! :) Kinda disappointed with the quality tho, looks pretty fake under bright lighting. Oh wells, it's just a part of my halloween costume anyways.

Taste of Danforth

I love, love, love Taste of Danforth. I love it's crowdedness and huge selections of vendors.

Toronto Buskerfest

I brought my Sis out to Buskerfest. It was my first time going to one. When we got off the train, people were handing out free Bud Light at the parking lot. Too bad my sister is underage, or else I would've ask her to get me another case, pwuahaha.

Buskerfest was kind of a disappointment. I thought there were be more shows and activities. It was kind of empty? And there were very few food vendors.

But yeah, you can never go wrong with Tiny Tom Donuts with apple cinnamon powder ^_^~!

CNE with Raymond and friends

I'm always excited to go to CNE every summer. It never gets old. I love tom's mini donuts, cheap warehouse sales, animal farm, and the game booths!

We dropped by the CNE casino first.. It was smaller than I imagined it to be. Not long after, we were starving and swung by the Food Building. I really really want to try krispy creme donut cheese burger, but as always burgers are beef. I opted for a

pogo stick and this huge greasy onion rings ($10). They were definitely not worth it.

We didn't spend much time at the shopping section. We practically went from game booths to game booths to win plushies. I really don't understand guys. Why waste that money to have achance to win when you can shop!?

We got lured into this booth where no strategy was required. It was based on luck. I think it was like $2/person/try. All 6 of us ended up with a "small prize", but we added it up and traded with a "medium prize" that still looked small =/. I say 2/5 of our time was trying to win this tiny tiny domo plushy. In the end, almost everyone had 2 domo plushies.

We were super tired by the time we got home.

First date with the girls after finals

We arrived at Eatons around 1:40pm. Walked around some stores. There weren't much buyings since the stores were soooo crowded with people. Somehow, we were out for almost 12 hours! What a fun, yet exhausting day.

Michelle, Sandy, Jessica and I stopped by McDonalds to get food. I wanted to get Italian sausages but was too lazy to get them. Mean time, Karen and Carmen went to the Bay.

After food, we were supposed to go to Forever 21 and then Khiel's. We were scared that the store would close early so we detoured our way to Queen st.

On our way, we stopped by Sephora. I asked for free consultation and samples for my acne-prone skin! Maybe I'll try some of the suggested products..it's still a bit too pricey for me tho :P

I reallly really wanted to get Khiel's eye cream. I think the one I'm using right now isn't right for me. Anyways I got a free sample of Kniel's anti-aging eye cream while lining up for my SPF 15 lip balm with a red hue. I might buy the original eye cream.. it's $35, I thought it would be $50 or something. After using their earth day promotion $10 gift card, I spent $2 on the lip balm! It is pretty moisturizing, but I think it's too oily. I don't like it as much as my current lip balm.

Thanks to Carmen purchasing the one-day pass, we rode TTC N times! I ordered Mania's Darling waffles at Cafe Mania. I wanted to get crepes, but they didn't have crepes with both cinnamon and ice cream!! Qian joined us 20 mins later. We stayed there til 8 before walking aimlessly.

Michelle and Sandy went home first. The rest of us ended up at Jack Astor's after circling around Eatons a few times. We ordered Riccard's White and some French beer. They were both really smooth and easy to drink with. Perfect for girls! Here are some behind the scene photos that I didn't upload on facebook. HEHE

Fun day out with the girls [Pics Heavy]

I met Cora and Wendy around 4pm today at STC. We ttced down to Union station to meet up with Mengwen. Yay I got two suveniors today -- I am so happy ^_^.

We arrived at Taiwanfest..saw a few cute guys but they were with girl(s). We got bored so we walked around the street trying to find a cafe. Ooh, William's Coffee Pub was just around the corner. We went in..and were about to order until we saw a dead fly on one of the plates..Then we left without ordering.

We walked down the other end and found Second Cup..I got a Moccacino and oatmeal raisin cookie..So expensive..T_T

We sat there and talked about their China vacation :)

After that, we tried to find this underground tunnel from union to king. We couldn't find the tunnel..we got lost. We walked for 40mins.

We came across Buskerfest..Wendy asked this lady to take a picture of us. But the lady was like "Sorry, but I just worked for 13 hours. I am too tired. I can't do this."..and she left. We were like......???

We tried to find the tunnel again..

In the end, we failed to find the tunnel. So ultimately we gave up LOL..

Then we went into this random building..The floor is so cool!

On the subway back..The police and this cameraman randomly came on..The policemen were talking to these black people. They were like "Is this a reality TV?" Policemen: "No..but it will be aired." LOL~ Okay so the one blocking is the fat police, but the other police infront is SO HANDSOME..I swear he should go to Hollywood.. God, he has such an awsome face..and his body is fit too..Shit I am drooling XD

Wendy was like.."Are they filming a movie?" Aww..shes so cute! :D

The camerman and the policemen left after two stations..Wtf so random = =..
